The Queen of Palestine (working title) is an intimate documentary portrait of my Palestinian mother-in-law, born in Nazareth in 1948, the year Palestine was fractured. Through conversations in her kitchen and garden, the film explores her fierce personality, her stories of defiance, and the complex legacy she passes on to the next generation.
