Claudia Mejia Castillo

My cinema begins with lived experience but expands toward collective memory. I am interested in what is transmitted, through families, through landscapes, through language, and in the fragile space between protection and truth. Working between countries and generations, I explore how history inhabits the body and how memory becomes a political gesture. I am drawn to stories where music, ritual, and landscape allow grief and memory to transform into something luminous.
